Junior NOC Engineer

We are seeking experienced professionals to fill a role in our team. Our cloud-based delivery model enables companies to embed additional communication features into their existing business.

This is a full-time, remote position for a Junior NOC Engineer. The individual will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining network operations, managing and troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring network security, and providing technical support to clients. They will be engaged in proactive network maintenance, immediate issue resolution, and supporting enterprise-level communication and messaging solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience on Horizen messaging platform, provide 24X7X365 NOC Support for VAS related issues, manage day-to-day operations of SMS NOC Customer/Vendor/Route/Rate Configuration Management, Trace Capturing & Troubleshooting, and new client interconnects and interconnection testing.

Key responsibilities include prioritizing network alarms and incidents to fulfill KPI commitments, monitoring disk space, log files, Dumps/logs purging, application uptime, capacity management, and reporting. The professional must also answer customer emails/calls and provide timely service, use various tools to verify reported events, head-to-head testing/configuration with clients, identify opportunities to improve processes, and sponsor system changes to improve efficiency.

Technical skills required include a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field, minimum one year experience in VOIP technologies, familiarity with SIP and RTP protocols, and minimum one year experience in A2P SMS technologies, including SMPP and TCP/IP protocols, and proficiency in PCAP analysis.
