Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a strategic professional to lead the development and implementation of innovative value chain promotion strategies.

This role is designed for an expert with a strong background in business model development, market linkages, and access to finance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in natural resources management, agroforestry, and nature-based businesses, as well as expertise in value chain promotion, marketing, and establishing market linkages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating, implementing, and modifying strategies and solutions for value chain promotion, conducting and leading technical workshops, identifying key market players, and facilitating linkages and financing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement value chain promotion strategies that drive business growth and sustainability.
  • Design and deliver technical workshops and training programs to build capacity among stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration and partnerships between key market players, including suppliers, buyers, and financial institutions.
  • Analyze market trends and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on project progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Finance, or Business.
  • English language proficiency.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in natural resources management, agroforestry, and nature-based businesses, with at least 5 years of experience in value chain promotion, marketing, and business model development.
