Network Infrastructure Operations Role

This position involves overseeing the operational performance of wireless, routing & switching infrastructure across offices & datacenter.

  • Ensure monitoring, reporting, and functioning of enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Maintain network infrastructure through technical troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors/support teams for multi-platform issues to identify problems and meet Incident/Problem management requirements.
  • Supervise network infrastructure changes/patch deployment, version upgrades & fixes, to meet Vulnerability & Change management requirements.
  • Provide support/assistance for network incidents/requests.
  • Maintain network inventory, network documentation & MIS reports.
Requirements
  • Experience in Network Infrastructure Operations.
  • Managing/supervising network support team.
  • Conceptual knowledge of Network Routing, Switching, Wireless & Security.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Routing/Switching/Wireless hardware platforms.
  • Conceptual knowledge for Enterprise Firewall (Site/VPN tunneling) & QoS Traffic Shaping in network environment.
  • Network monitoring/reporting/troubleshooting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
  • Well-versed with Network MIS & technical reports.
