Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead Internal Audit engagements, including planning, execution, and conclusion.
  • Perform risk assessments to provide an accurate view of the client's current risk state.
  • Analyze data using appropriate tools and technologies.
  • Design and implement internal controls by applying understanding of internal control design frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the client's business, interpret sector trends, and learn leading practices.
  • Interact effectively with colleagues and clients of varying backgrounds to serve clients efficiently.

Internal Audit Services:

  • Enhance quality and efficiency of recommended conduct risk solutions by applying relevant frameworks, conducting research, and performing analyses.
  • Conduct internal audits by leveraging approved processes and methodologies.
  • Set the stage for a successful assessment of client's internal audit processes and controls by collecting and organizing data.
  • Enhance quality of assurance engagements by identifying risks, performing testing, researching governing regulations, and developing reports.
  • Form a core Extended Enterprise Risk Management (EERM) skillset through proactively conducting research, and participating in internal and external initiatives.
  • Enhance effectiveness of the client's ORM system analysis.
  • Leverage industry leading tools and frameworks to increase effectiveness of ORM solutions.
  • Form a core technology and data risk skillset through proactively conducting research, and participating to internal and external initiatives.
  • Leverage industry leading frameworks, methods, and tools to increase effectiveness of technology and data risk solutions.

Skill Set Requirements:

  • Project Management:
  • Decision making with engagement management and seeking to understand the broader impact of current decisions.
  • Lead engagement planning, economics, and billing.
  • Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo.
  • Participate in proposal development efforts.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities.
  • Manage relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Post-qualification experience in Internal Audit.
  • CA - Fresher
  • Working with any of the Big 4/Large consulting firms and having experience of internal / statutory audits of financial services clients
  • Candidates from the industry, should preferably have experience of working with the compliance / internal audit / risk management function / operations department of the above-mentioned entities
  • Strong knowledge of processes and systems in their respective area of operations
