Mica Supply Chain Compliance Specialist

The global mica market is driven by 34 types of minerals, used in various sectors including cosmetics, automotive coatings, metallurgy, electronics, batteries, plastics, and oil extraction.
The Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI) aims to establish responsible mica supply chains in India and Madagascar. RMI works with organizations to develop policies ensuring fair working conditions and eliminate child labor.
A highly motivated individual is sought for the position of 'Workplace Standard Auditor & Trainer', based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The successful candidate will work closely with RMI's governance bodies and partners under the supervision of the Director of Programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting gap assessments against RMI's Global Workplace Standard (GWS)
- Developing corrective action plans and supporting processors and mine owners
- Coordinating audit protocols and liaising with accredited auditing companies
- Designing training sessions on responsible workplace standards for auditors and stakeholders
- Performing quality checks and analyzing data for presentations
A strong background in social and environmental auditing is required, along with excellent coordination and monitoring skills. Fluency in English and Hindi is necessary, as well as good reporting and presentation skills.
