Resident Audiovisual Expert

We are seeking highly skilled and customer-focused AV System Engineers to manage, support, and maintain audiovisual systems ensuring seamless operations of meetings, conferences, and events. The engineer will serve as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring high-standard AV service delivery.

This role is responsible for setting up, testing, and operating AV equipment (video conferencing, projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, control systems, etc.). The successful candidate will provide live event support including presentations, hybrid meetings, and townhalls, ensuring that all AV-related aspects run smoothly.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of AV systems, video conferencing platforms, and signal flow. Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving is essential, as well as excellent communication and customer service orientation.

In this role, you will work independently and handle pressure in live environments, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. If you have experience with Polycom, Logitech, and Videowall Controller technology, this could be an exciting opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Onsite AV Operations
• Provide daily support for all AV-enabled meeting rooms, conference spaces, and event areas
• Set up, test, and operate AV equipment (video conferencing, projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, control systems, etc.)
• Provide live event support including presentations, hybrid meetings, and townhalls
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting
• Diagnose and resolve AV system issues in real-time with minimal disruption
• Coordinate with remote support teams and vendors for escalations
• Perform routine checks, system reboots, and preventive maintenance
• System Administration
• Manage and monitor AV equipment health, firmware updates, and usage reports
• Ensure VC platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, etc.) integrate smoothly with in-room technology
• Maintain asset records, documentation, and SOPs
• Client Relationship & Communication
• Act as the primary onsite AV contact for the client
• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users
• Deliver a consistent, professional experience aligned with client expectations

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of AV systems: Crestron, AMX, Extron, Poly, Cisco, Logitech, Biamp, QSC, Shure, etc.
• Proficiency in video conferencing platforms: Zoom, MS Teams, Webex
• Familiarity with AV over IP, signal flow, DSPs, and control systems
• Experience in live event production and hybrid meeting setups
