Lead Financial Strategist Opportunity:

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Financial Strategist to join our organization. This pivotal role involves driving the company's financial strategy forward by overseeing taxation, compliance, accounting, and financial reporting.

Taxation Responsibilities
  • GST Compliance: Automate and streamline GST processes to ensure timely submission of returns and efficient management of notices, audits, and inquiries from GST authorities.
  • Direct Taxation: Review TDS TCS setup for vendors and customers, conduct periodic invoice reviews, and rectify discrepancies in a timely manner.
Compliance Obligations
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on evolving tax regulations and ensure adherence to all direct and indirect tax requirements.
Accounting and Financial Reporting Duties
  • Financial Statements: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Month-End Close: Collaborate with the APAC Financial Controller for month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely journal entries and adjustments.
Audit and Internal Control Functions
  • Statutory Audits: Coordinate with external auditors and support internal audit processes to ensure strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 years of post-qualification experience in taxation, financial reporting, and accounting, preferably with Big-4 articleship experience. Strong expertise in GST, TDS, Corporate Tax, and handling tax notices and audits is essential. Experience in a manufacturing setup is preferred, along with advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Power BI.
