Sr. Project Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Sr. Project Engineer in Talegaon, Pune, India.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing reciprocating air compressor blocks as specified in Master Specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop reciprocating air compressor blocks with adherence to Master Specifications.
  • Develop new products based on design from the divisional product company, following-up and further designing/localizing products currently in production against committed time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Be part of an engineering team that aims to excel in designing and manufacturing Atlas Copco reciprocating compressors. Define right functional specifications of the finished product & critical components under development for 1st time right product launch.
  • Focusing on cost reductions and leading special cost reduction projects as decided in the AIA PCM.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in product design and development in mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience on Reciprocating compressor products for Air & Industrial Gas applications.
  • Good knowledge of Atlas Copco products and NPD process.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing & qualification processes for compressor parts.
  • Conversant with Atlas Copco standards, design, and drawing methodology.
Qualifications:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering Graduate.
  • Masters degree in engineering is an added advantage.
