Company Overview Pune Instrumentation Pvt Ltd PIPL founded in 1974 is a leading company in Pune India known for its custom application development and advanced manufacturing solutions With ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications and DSIR recognition as an in-house R D organization PIPL provides products such as hydraulic snubber test benches and temperature regulators to multiple industries including healthcare automotive and oil and gas Job Overview PIPL is seeking a Mid-Level Business Development Sales Mechanical Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience for a Full-Time position based in Pune Pimpri-Chinchwad Pimpri The role drives business growth by identifying new opportunities and aligning them with PIPL s advanced manufacturing solutions The position requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and exceptional sales acumen Qualifications and Skills Negotiation skills Mandatory skills are essential to facilitate favorable terms and agreements with potential clients and partners New Business Development Mandatory skill involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with the company s strategic interests Techno Commercial Knowledge Mandatory skill to understand and communicate complex mechanical solutions clearly and efficiently to prospective clients Problem-solving skills to effectively overcome challenges and obstacles in the business development process Strong Communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and establish a rapid connection with both internal stakeholders and external clients R D acumen to leverage scientific research and development insights to improve product offerings suited to client needs Presentation Skills are necessary for developing compelling sales presentations to communicate proposals to stakeholders effectively Roles and Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company s reach in target industries Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and recommend suitable solutions from PIPL s product portfolio Collaborate with the R D team to ensure new solutions meet client specifications and industry standards Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional support Prepare and present detailed techno-commercial proposals to potential clients and stakeholders Negotiate and finalize contracts in alignment with both client requirements and company objectives Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities Contribute to developing the sales strategy and business plan to achieve sales targets
