Job Title: Cloud Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to manage mission-critical cloud infrastructure for our customers globally. This role involves providing 24x7 managed supports for these cloud environments, overseeing a team and ensuring customer satisfaction exceeds the benchmark.

  • Build relationships, enable and work with partners to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues proactively.
  • Review tickets and escalate to management as required.
  • Oversee a team of Cloud Engineers, provide technical expertise and guidance where needed.
  • Act as the L3 in case of escalations and resolve issues with a hands-on approach.
  • Interact with customers via tickets, calls, emails and periodic sync up calls.
  • Evaluate team member performance on a regular basis and provide feedback to the team and HR.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in providing L3 technical support in a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualisation and supporting technologies and concepts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Linux, MySQL, Vmware/KVM and on-prem cloud technology.
  • In-Depth experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine etc.).
  • Good working knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backup, Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Experience handling a team of minimum 4 people in this role.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience.
