Software Engineering Leader Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our team in building cutting-edge features for IoT-based web applications and backend infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and excellence in software development.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring a high level of expertise in software engineering, project management, and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of software developers, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and driving continuous improvement in software architecture and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge features and services
  • Develop and maintain software architecture and technical vision for the team
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects and meet business objectives
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of experience in software product development, with at least 2 years of experience in managing a software team
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Information Engineering from a reputable institute
  • Strong expertise in technologies such as IoT, Big Data Analytics, AWS, Azure, and Microservices architecture
  • Experience in building web applications using Microsoft .NET and JavaScript frameworks like Angular and ReactJS
  • Hands-on experience in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Design and development experience of RESTful services, APIs, and data storage solutions
  • Experience in managing application development teams, coaching, and mentoring engineers at various stages of their career
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, and knowledge about Microservices hosting platforms like Apigee
  • Experience in working with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and stakeholders, and drive continuous innovation
