Job Title: Messaging NOC Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled junior Messaging NOC engineer to join our team. As a Messaging NOC engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining network operations, managing technical issues, ensuring security, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 24/7/365 NOC Support for VAS-related issues
  • Manage day-to-day operations of SMS NOC Customer/Vendor/Route/Rate Configuration Management
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and sponsor introducing system changes

You will work on our cloud-based delivery model, enabling companies to embed additional communication features into their existing business.

This role involves monitoring disk space, log files, dumps/logs purging, application uptime, capacity management, and reporting. You will use various tools, such as Ethereal/Wireshark, ping, traceroute, browser, etc., to quickly verify reported events.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in VOIP technologies, including SIP and RTP protocols
  • Familiarity with SMPP and TCP/IP protocols
  • Experience in working at a leading A2P operator (advantageous)
Technical Skills:
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced project management skills

This is a full-time, remote role requiring strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English.
