Operational Excellence Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and efficient Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Responsibilities include operating equipment efficiently without error or deviation, performing unit operations as per SOP, optimizing resource utilization, maintaining equipment and facilities, and proposing process improvements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Efficiently operate equipment to meet shift targets while adhering to SOP.
  • Perform unit operations as per batch manufacturing record and SOP.
  • Optimize resource utilization for achieving production in shifts.
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and premises according to SOP for audit readiness.
  • Identify and rectify deficiencies and errors in documents as required.
  • Propose and implement new ideas to enhance production efficiency.
  • Execute and update online documentation to meet cGMP requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely entries in BMR and supporting documents.
  • Verify data integrity before submission.
  • Deliver training to workmen on cGMP, safety, and equipment operation guidelines.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping and sanitization activities as per guidelines.
  • Report near-miss incidents to the officer-in-charge promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, science).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of SOPs, cGMP, and quality management principles.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks under pressure.
