Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our technology proposition and will be responsible for technical leadership, supporting technology consulting projects, identifying and advising on appropriate solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality digital solutions using best practices, defining coding standards and team conventions.
  • Advocate for developer experience, continually improving it through a blameless culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Lead and influence technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers, Leads, and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • High proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with Node.js experience desirable.
  • Experience in CI/CD environments, tools like Circle CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture, including cloud platforms and services.
  • Agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation via unit, integration, contract, and E2E testing.
  • Observing performance and health of applications via tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog, Sentry.

A strong desire and advocacy for performant applications is essential. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with others.
