We invite applications for the role of Materials Planner and Inventory Strategist - Supply Chain Expert in our team.

This critical position ensures a company has the right materials at the right time to meet production schedules and maintain optimal stock levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire product life cycle, from acquisition to disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase Planning:
    • Plan material purchases weekly to ensure timely availability in correct quantities.
    • Define order quantities using MRP in SAP ECC.
    • Maintain accurate master data to optimize planning and reduce manual labor and errors.
    • Send purchase orders to suppliers and monitor delivery logistics and lead mitigation routes when necessary.
  • Supplier Management:
    • Share medium-term consumption forecasts and monitor monthly capacity analysis of critical materials with suppliers.
    • Determine the best service model (MTO/MTS) and establish security stocks agreements with suppliers.
    • Lead collaborative agenda with suppliers: monitoring service level and elaborating action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain inventory levels according to established policies.
    • Develop material stock projections based on consumption needs.
    • Perform periodic revisions in stock calculations.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce inventory impacts.
  • Waste Control:
    • Balance discontinued materials to minimize write-offs in innovation projects.
    • Manage slow movers to avoid unnecessary expenses.
    • Control blocked items and charge for each occurrence.
    • Prepare write-off proposals for discarded items.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Participate in the global project of improving and standardizing MRP processes.
    • Support the execution of mapped actions.
    • Improve service level measurement of suppliers.
    • Identify opportunities in the supply chain together with Procurement: alternative suppliers, savings, reduced complexity, and reduced lead times.
    Qualifications We Seek:
    • Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
      • Experience in planning.
      • Knowledge in SAP-ECC.
      • Advanced Excel skills.
      • Advanced English language skills (weekly calls with global teams and frequent email exchange).
      • Large analytical data capacity.
      • Agility in decision-making.
      • Resilience and determination to work in a dynamic environment with various stakeholders.
      • Holistic view of the supply chain, identifying opportunities, and anticipating problems.
    • Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:
      • Supply Chain related experience in Supply Planning, preferably in CPG/Consumer Electronics companies.
      • Working knowledge of ERP & Planning systems like SAP, JDA Manugistics, APO, Kinaxis, etc.
      • Knowledge of Analytical tools like Power BI, Tableau.
