Mobile Application Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic team as a Mobile Application Quality Assurance Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for our Android applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Automated Test Frameworks: Develop and maintain test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using Kotlin programming language.
  • Test Automation Expertise: Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, record, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
  • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Code Review Participation: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 3-6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Android applications.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Android SDK, familiarity with testing frameworks such as Espresso, JUnit, or UI Automator, and experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Methodological Knowledge: Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Cognitive Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Social Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional Technical Expertise: Experience with performance testing tools.
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge of mobile application security testing.
  • Cloud-Based Platforms: Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
