Android Software Engineer Position\

The primary responsibilities of this position involve designing, developing, and testing advanced applications for the Android platform. This will be accomplished through a combination of Kotlin and/or Java coding, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

This role requires proficiency in unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Additionally, experience with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, etc.) is necessary. The ability to work on bug fixing and improving application performance is also essential.

\

Furthermore, this position calls for continuous discovery, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Participation in code reviews and mentoring junior developers is also expected.

Key requirements include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, and 5–7 years of professional experience in Android app development. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes is also required.

Additionally, proficiency in Kotlin and Java, experience with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, etc.), familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services, and experience with third-party libraries and APIs are all necessary.

\Requirements\
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in Android app development.
  • Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

\Preferred Qualifications\
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Knowledge of design patterns such as Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM), Model-View-Presenter (MVP), or Clean Architecture.
  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
  • Published at least one app on the Google Play Store.
