Job Overview:

 

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage our clients' accounts and back-office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial software, and stock trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Maintain accurate client ledgers, including deposits, withdrawals, and trading margins.
  • Reconcile daily balances to ensure accuracy in client accounts.
  • Verify executed trades with exchange and back-office systems.
  • Calculate brokerage, statutory fees, and trade-related charges.
  • Generate detailed profit and loss reports for clients.
  • Deduct applicable taxes and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist clients with capital gains accounting and tax-related reports.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, client accounts, and trade settlements.

Back Office Operations:

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including KYC verification and account setup.
  • Process client pay-ins and pay-outs for trades.
  • E nsure timely completion of T+1/T+2 settlement obligations.
  • Reconcile daily trades with stock exchanges.
  • Generate contract notes, trade confirmations, and margin reports.
  • Handle client queries related to trade execution, account balances, and discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or back-office operations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and stock trading platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
