Senior Bus Body Manufacturing Leader

Drive operational excellence in bus body production, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality standards, and cost efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to optimize manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Jobs Per Hour (JPH), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and downtime to improve production efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to dimensional accuracy, fit & finish, and welding standards for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve line-level quality issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Implement process improvements through Kaizen, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce non-value-added activities and improve line balancing.
- Lead team management, mentoring production supervisors and line staff, conducting skill gap analysis, and organizing training programs.
- Cordinate with R&D and technical services for new model launches, ensuring station readiness and compliance with pre-launch checklists.
- Liaise with supply chain and warehousing for timely material availability, monitoring inventory levels, and reducing excess stock or shortages.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 15-20 years of experience in automotive production, specifically in bus/coach body building, BIW, assembly, and EV.
- Domain expertise in bus body structure design and manufacturing, leadership and team management, problem-solving and decision-making, cost control and budgeting, ERP/MRP systems proficiency, safety and compliance awareness, and performance metrics.
