Cloud-Native Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team working on cloud-native products.

  • Contribute to the development of cloud-native products and services for a Kubernetes product ecosystem.
  • Leverage technical expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams in designing and implementing product roadmaps.
  • Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Maintain high-quality performance, scalability, and reliability of product lines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python or Golang.
  • 8-12 years of experience in software development roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols like TCP/IP, Ethernet, switching, routing.
  • Prior experience in developing networking products is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter with ability to work in dynamic environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Openstack/Devstack is beneficial.
