Global Compliance Lead

The maritime industry is facing a critical juncture with the increasing demand for transparency and accountability in global trade.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape meaningful compliance and impact governance change in the maritime sector by supporting companies in navigating complex regulatory frameworks and ensuring ethical business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients worldwide in understanding and adhering to anti-corruption regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive compliance tools and resources to address industry needs and regulatory trends.
  • Designing and delivering training programs on anti-corruption and sanctions compliance, including in-person and online modules.
  • Collaborating with external providers to support due diligence initiatives.
  • Championing sustainability efforts by promoting responsible business practices within the ESG framework.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, compliance, ESG, or integrity risk management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sanctions, anti-corruption frameworks, and international trade regulations.
  • Proven success in engaging with governments, NGOs, and business leaders.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and e-learning tools is a plus.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to transparent business practices.
