Job Opportunity: Head of Information Technology

We are seeking an exceptional technology leader who will spearhead our organization's digital transformation and drive strategic growth.

This role demands a visionary leader who can manage complex IT systems, ensure secure and reliable infrastructure, and foster innovation through emerging technologies.

The successful candidate will oversee software projects, mobile apps, web platforms, AI integration, process automation, and digital innovation to expand our outreach and strengthen our brand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Software & Digital Transformation: Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions, mobile apps, and web platforms to enhance our ministry reach.
  • IT Infrastructure & Operations: Supervise IT infrastructure teams, cloud and on-premise server management, networks, telecom systems, and 24/7 connectivity across Prayer Towers and remote teams.
  • Cybersecurity & Surveillance: Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks, cloud-based CCTV surveillance systems, real-time alerting, incident response, and forensic investigation systems to protect our data and assets.
  • Database & Analytics: Lead database management teams, design data-driven dashboards for partner engagement, prayer requests, and outreach metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary IT team, partner with Prayer Tower leaders, Media, Finance, HR, and Ministry operations to enable technology-driven solutions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven leadership in large-scale IT operations with expertise in software development, app ecosystems, DevOps, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of networking, cloud systems, and CCTV cloud monitoring with a strong command over cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Vendor & contract management with focus on cost-efficiency and ROI, as well as strategic thinking to align IT with ministry growth & outreach goals.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience (NGO/Non-Profit/Telecom/Enterprise IT background desirable) with certifications in PMP/PRINCE2 (Project Management), AWS/Azure (Cloud), CISSP/CEH (Cybersecurity).
  • Experience in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes ecosystems with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
