Senior SAP FICO Consultant Role

Seeking a seasoned Senior SAP FICO consultant to support financial accounting and controlling module implementations, upgrades, and AMS support.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending SAP FICO solutions.

Responsibilities also involve staying current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support for SAP FICO module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

  • Incident, Ticket, Change Request, and Change Management process experience is required.
  • Ability to read and debug ABAP programs is necessary.
  • Mentorship and guidance of junior team members are expected.

Required skills and qualifications include a bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or a related field, as well as 6-8 years of hands-on work experience as an SAP FICO consultant in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.

Strong exposure in financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, taxes, cost center and profit center accounting, asset accounting, bank accounting, and controlling is essential.

FICO integration with MM & SD modules, project system, COPA, banking - EBS & DME knowledge is also required.

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules is necessary.
  • Expert understanding of interfaces, IDocs, and eDocument is required.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. SAP certification in FICO is highly desirable.
