Our finance team requires a detail-oriented Financial Coordinator to assist with day-to-day accounting, administrative, and secretarial tasks. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining financial documents in an efficient manner.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to ensure transparency and accuracy.
  • Maintain records of customer invoices and send reminders when necessary.
  • Arrange for payments from customers and follow up as required.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting with timely and accurate submissions.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets that meet business requirements.
  • Provide periodic updates to management on finance activities and their impact on the business.
  • Assist in company secretarial work and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required by supervisors and contribute to the smooth operation of the finance team.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is essential for this role.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of accounting software like Zoho, QuickBooks, or Tally is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
