ServiceNow Security Specialist

This role involves implementing and managing ServiceNow solutions with a focus on Security Operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring and customizing the Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response modules, as well as integrating third-party security data sources and tools into ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions to support security operations
  • Configure and customize the Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules to meet business requirements
  • Integrate third-party security data sources and tools into ServiceNow to enhance security capabilities
  • Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer to automate security workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure workflows that meet business needs
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, specifically in Security Operations
  • At least 2-3 implementations in Security Operations
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript and Glide
  • Familiarity with best practices in IT security, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification for SIR and/or VR modules
  • Experience supporting large-scale ServiceNow environments (10,000+ users)
  • Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., GRC, ITSM, App Engine)
Competencies:
  • Advanced configuration and customization of Security Operations (SIR & VR) modules
  • Solution Design: Translate business requirements into secure workflows
