About This Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to lead our test automation efforts. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing strategies across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless execution of UI, API, and pipeline tests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop robust test flows with modern UI automation tools, leveraging Playwright for efficient testing.
- Automate backend/API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent, guaranteeing thorough coverage.
- Design and implement smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, and sanity checks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Integrate all testing components into GitHub pipelines for automated validation and streamlined development workflows.
- Identify and resolve failing builds, isolate bugs, and document them efficiently.
- Maintain test data and manage the test environment to ensure continuous testing excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong focus on software development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD systems, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of API testing, version control, and the test lifecycle.
- Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like K6 and JMeter is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of AI/ML-based system testing is a plus.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
