Job Role Overview

This is a pivotal position for a skilled professional who will join our engineering team and work alongside us to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.

  • We are seeking an experienced expert with a strong background in test automation for web applications.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing, proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, and solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
  • This role involves architecting, implementing, and maintaining automated tests using Cypress, developing and extending test frameworks in C# and TypeScript, configuring and scheduling nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub Actions, analysing test results, triaging failures, and collaborating with developers to resolve defects.

The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. They should have strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
  • Architect and implement automated tests using Cypress.
  • Develop and extend test frameworks in C# and TypeScript.
  • Configure and schedule nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub Actions.
  • Analyse test results, triage failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
