Job Description:

The role involves designing, automating and scaling testing philosophy using AI to enhance product quality.

This position requires a combination of technical skills and business acumen to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up intelligent systems for AI-powered testing
  • Design and run test cases at scale
  • Manually test flows to spot edge cases and experience breaks
  • Build intelligent, repeatable testing frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright or custom setups using JavaScript
  • Vet new feature releases and ensure user experience meets product vision
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Ops teams to feed insights into product improvements
  • Maintain high-quality documentation of testing systems, workflows and improvements
  • Explore new AI tools, frameworks and methods to improve testing workflow

Requirements:

  • High judgment to distinguish between working features and feeling features
  • Ownership and agency to take initiative and spot gaps in testing
  • Technical fundamentals: comfortable with basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Smart and curious to learn new tools and apply them creatively
  • Product intuition to think about products from a user's perspective
  • Organized communication skills to document bugs and testing flows

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with AI for test case generation or script generation
  • Exposure to LLM-based workflows or agents (e.g. Langchain, AutoGPT)
  • Prior startup experience
  • Exposure to REST APIs and basic API testing
  • Good design sense or UX intuition
