Job Title: Motion Graphics Designer

The role requires creating high-quality, engaging visuals for various media. A strong understanding of design principles and proficiency in relevant software are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualization and Storyboarding: Collaborate with clients or creative teams to understand project requirements, develop visual concepts, and create storyboards to outline the animation sequence.
  • Design and Animation: Utilize industry-standard software to design and animate graphic elements, typography, characters, and visual effects in 2D or 3D.
  • Typography and Kinetic Typography: Select and animate text effectively to convey messages and create visual interest.
  • Auditory Integration: Sync animations with voiceovers, sound effects, and music to create a cohesive and engaging final product.
  • Video Editing: Combine motion graphics with live-action footage and perform post-production tasks using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all motion graphics align with the client's brand guidelines, including color palettes, typography, and visual style.
  • Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, animation techniques, and software advancements.
  • Optimization: Prepare and export animations in various formats optimized for different platforms (web, social media, broadcast, etc.).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Understanding of Design Principles: Layout, composition, color theory, and typography.
  • End-to-End Project Execution Ability: From concept development through delivery.
  • 5+ Years of Experience: In motion graphics, animation, and video production.
  • Proven Ability: To work in a fast-paced environment while delivering value to the team.
  • Proficiency in Animation Principles: Timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, etc.
  • Mastery of Industry-Standard Software: Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is a must, and knowledge of other software like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PowerPoint is highly valued.
  • Creativity and Artistic Vision: Ability to develop original and engaging visual concepts.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and visual consistency in all aspects of the animation.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Effectively conveying ideas and working well with others.
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: The field is constantly evolving, so staying current is crucial.
  • A Strong Portfolio: Showcasing a diverse range of motion graphics work.
