Job Title: Senior Mobile Tester

Role/Requirement:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Tester to join our team for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the e-commerce domain and expertise in both mobile and web testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the scope of testing within each release/delivery
  • Provide regular updates to the Test Lead/Manager
  • Collaborate closely with BA's, functional leads, and development teams
  • Contribute to test planning and managing the testing effort for each release
  • Design and execute test scenarios and cases
  • Track and report bugs, coordinating defect resolution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in e-commerce domain with mobile and web testing expertise
  • Strong API testing skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC phases and methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans/test cases in structured environments
  • Hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans
  • Experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects
  • Good to have experience in performance testing and Firebase Analytics
  • Advantageous to have tool experience for mobile testing
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with technical teams to convert functional requirements into test specifications

  • Knowledge of current testing tools used in industries
