Scan-to-BIM Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scan-to-BIM modeler to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in importing, cleaning, and registering point cloud data into BIM platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BIM principles and workflows with hands-on experience in point cloud processing. You will be responsible for developing accurate and detailed 3D BIM models from scan data, ensuring precise alignment and coordination between elements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Importing and registering point cloud data into BIM platforms
  • Cleaning and optimizing scan data for use in BIM modeling
  • Developing accurate and detailed 3D BIM models from scan data
  • Ensuring precise alignment and coordination between elements
  • Validating model accuracy against site scans, within tolerance levels, BIM standards, and LOD requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Scan-to-BIM modeling
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Recap
  • Strong understanding of BIM principles and workflows
  • Hands-on experience in point cloud processing
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines
