Senior Software Tester

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Senior Software Tester position. This role involves testing and validating retail insurance journeys, including health insurance, life insurance, and motor insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and validate retail insurance journeys, ensuring that all aspects of the insurance product are thoroughly tested.
  • Understand insurance business workflows, policy lifecycle, claims processing, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools to validate data exchange, response codes, and business logic.
  • Collaborate with developers and backend teams to identify and resolve API-related issues.
  • Analyze requirements, identify scenarios, and develop detailed and comprehensive test cases.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases across different modules and platforms.
  • Conduct testing on mobile applications (Android/iOS), including functional, usability, and performance testing.
  • Track, log, and manage defects in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, specifically in retail insurance domain (health, life, motor insurance).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in API Testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
  • Good understanding of retail banking domain concepts is highly desirable.
  • Solid experience in writing, executing, and maintaining test cases and scenarios.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
