Job Title

Technical Lead in Product Information Management

The ideal candidate will lead a team responsible for the development and maintenance of our Product Information Management application. This application is at the heart of our business, ensuring that products are accurately represented across all channels.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, as well as maintaining existing ones. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the application meets the needs of both business stakeholders and end-users.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing new features to improve the application's functionality and user experience;
  • Maintaining existing features to ensure they continue to meet the needs of users;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the application meets business requirements;
  • Identifying and prioritizing technical tasks to optimize the application's performance;

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, data and database design, SQL, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux, and Web services. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience working in Retail industry, 5+ years experience working in cross functional team, and 5+ years Expert technical experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, data and database design, SQL, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux and Web services. Experience in STIBO STEP systems configuration, development, architectural design, and integration also required.

In-depth understanding of relational database (Oracle, DB2 or SQL) and ability to write/review complex operational queries.

Good understanding of API RESTful services, capable of defining deployment process and methodologies.
