Job Overview

This is a short-term project with one of the largest global technology leaders.

The primary focus will be on migrating legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and hosting UI pages on Amazon Web Services (AWS) while driving code refactoring, upgrades, security, and resilience improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain highly available, resilient, and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.
  • Migrate legacy UI systems to our new microservice architecture.
  • Upgrade legacy Java applications to Spring Boot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code.
  • Test, document, and otherwise quality proof your work to ensure that software meets business and operational needs.
  • Maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to optimize deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot any issues to identify root cause and appropriate resolution.
  • Support production deployments, operations, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor metrics and identify ways to improve logging, reporting, and alerting.
  • Follow agile principles and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Collaborate inside and outside the team engaging with other engineering teams, product managers, support, and security teams.
