Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior API Gateway Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing API gateway platforms on Kubernetes clusters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing API gateway architectures for scalable and secure application delivery.
  • Deploying and managing API gateway components, including message processors, synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters within Kubernetes.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
  • Collaborating with API teams to support proxy deployments, troubleshoot runtime issues, and optimize platform performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience with API gateway platforms, including design, deployment, and management.
  • Familiarity with containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem).
  • Proficient in scripting with Bash/Shell and Python.
  • Knowledge of network security, firewall rules, VPNs, and cloud security best practices.
