Senior Systems Engineer – Collaboration Platforms

Job Description:

This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader. We are seeking an experienced Collaboration Senior Systems Engineer to drive the automation of business processes and technical design of platforms.

The successful candidate will oversee the administration and integration of collaboration platforms, working with internal and external partners to establish strong relationships and deliver engaging productivity experiences.

  • Maintain and optimize collaboration systems for efficient and secure solutions.
  • Manage changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes.
  • Ensure system security, implement standards, and respond to failures or performance issues.
  • Produce regular reports on performance, capacity, availability, and security for senior management.
  • Write technical documentation and collaborate on ongoing issues and projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee outsourced services.
  • Install, configure, integrate, and test new system components and applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and enhance functionality.
  • Follow industry best practices and quality assurance standards.
  • Perform maintenance or upgrades with minimal business impact.
  • Participate in systems analysis and design engineering projects.
  • Configure prototypes, deliver products, and manage solution implementation and vendor performance.
