Real Estate Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual with strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial modeling, particularly in the real estate industry, with exposure to multiple industries including general industrials & industrial services, consumers, retail, and oil & gas.

  • Create comprehensive financial models for multifamily, office, industrial, and retail asset classes, including operating and non-operating cash flow modeling, levered and debt cash flow, JV & waterfall, and build and audit financial models.
  • Develop Argus valuation models (single property and portfolio), lease abstracting, lease review, and audit, as well as perform cash flow and rent roll analysis.
  • Conduct valuations for commercial real estate properties using different approaches – income capitalization approach (DCF & direct capitalization), sales comparison approach, and cost approach.
  • Model REIT income statements and balance sheets, understanding revolver, interest expense, and circularity, and model future development, FFO, and CAD, ultimately building and auditing REIT valuation and NAV models.
  • Prepare pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, and company-focused discussion documents related to various industries.
  • Conduct M&A deal runs and potential target & buyer screenings using databases including Greenstreet, RCA, Argus, Costar, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, and FactSet.
