Cloud Engineer Job Description

At the forefront of our organization's technology landscape, we're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud architectures using Kubernetes clusters hosted in cloud environments.
  • Utilize InfrastructureAsCode tooling like Terraform and Ansible to manage cloud resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure software reliability, scalability, and high availability.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop analytics-driven strategies to predict and prevent potential issues, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Lead initiatives to adopt self-healing and resiliency patterns across our infrastructure.
  • Design and deliver automated software upgrades, change management, and release management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain tools to automate manual operational work, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, with expertise in Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions, driving efficiency, and improving processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
