Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Overview

The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for productionizing machine learning models, building automation-first delivery pipelines, and engineering scalable serving architectures. They will also partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs and lead incidents that drive durable fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end model lifecycle, from tracked experiments to governed releases, ensuring resilient services with clear service-level objectives (SLOs) and fast, safe rollbacks.
  • Build reproducible builds, layered tests, and environment promotion via continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like GitLab CI and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Engineer batch and real-time inference on Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS), Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), AWS Lambda, and Databricks Model Serving with probes, autoscaling, and canary/blue-green deployments.
  • Instrument end-to-end observability, detect drift/regressions, and lead post-mortems that drive durable fixes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years operating machine learning systems in production (MLOps).
  • Experience with Python for machine learning engineering and developing CI/CD pipelines for machine learning and general artificial intelligence.
  • Experience deploying and operating compute for machine learning and secure data access patterns.
  • Experience implementing model tracking, model registry & governed promotion, and packaging & deployment to multi-target runtimes.
