Job Title: Vice Principal

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the school principal in various duties, ensuring a smooth academic environment. Key responsibilities include managing curriculum, supervising staff and students, handling discipline and development, and fostering positive relationships with parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic Administration: Assist the school principal in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school.
  • Discipline and Development: Oversee school discipline, development, and academic quality to ensure students receive the best education.
  • Curriculum Management: Manage curriculum, academic resources, and supplies, ensuring effective execution.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of coordinators and handle school staff, duties, and supervision.
  • Student Engagement: Engage students through various activities and manage exams, time-tables, contests, and academic calendars.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for staff members, enhancing their skills and engagement.
  • School Policies: Execute school policies, impact rules and regulations, and maintain control over their implementation.
  • Parent Relations: Foster positive relationships with parents, resolve conflicts, and manage problems effectively.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, work as a team player, facilitator, and deputy to the leadership.
  • Teaching and Academic Support: Teach select subjects on a regular basis and provide academic support as needed.
  • CBSE Liaison: Handle CBSE, state, and local liaison and compliances, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform all additional academic and non-academic duties assigned from time to time.
Desired Profile:
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in teaching and academic administrative levels with a proven track record in CBSE-affiliated schools.
  • A Post-Graduate degree with B.Ed. and excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of CBSE compliances and other state and local regulations.
  • Good liaison and public relations skills.
