Job Title: Linux Support Engineer

This role involves technical responsibilities such as server management, operating system installation and configuration, and ensuring smooth operations of DNS, email servers, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, IIS, and MSSQL.

Key Skills:

  • Server Management: Physical and virtualized servers (Linux and Windows)
  • Operating System Installation and Configuration: Remote consoles (IPMI, IDRAC, KVM)
  • Virtualization Tools: Proxmox, SolusVM, Virtualizor, Hyper-V
  • Network and Tools Management: cPanel/WHM, Plesk, routers, switches
  • Protocol and Communication Management: SMTP, IMAP, POP3, HTTP, DNS, FTP, SSH
  • Problem Analysis and Resolution: Hardware, applications, and network status monitoring and issue resolution
  • Scripting and Automation: Scripting languages to automate and streamline processes

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a web hosting industry
  • Expertise in cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and server environments (Linux and Windows)
  • Proficiency in on-premise virtualization tools (Proxmox, SolusVM, Virtualizor)
  • Experience with Automation Deployment with Ansible, NOC-PS
  • Monitoring with Librenms, Zabbix, Icinga2, Grafana/Prometheus/AlertManager Stack
  • Strong understanding of networking and server fundamentals, DNS, and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Marathi/Hindi/English Communication skills
