Job Title: Tax Advisory Specialist We are seeking a skilled Tax Advisory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our advisory group, you will provide expert advice on tax matters related to direct and international taxation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Structuring and advising clients on deals from a tax perspective, including foreign exchange control and other regulatory requirements.
  • Drafting and reviewing deal documents, such as term sheets, loan agreements, and disclosure statements.
  • Handholding clients in conceptualizing deals with a focus on India entry/exit strategy, tax efficiency, and commercial rationale.
  • Advising on structuring through the IFSC Gift city.
  • Front-ending and liaising with various stakeholders, including AD Bankers.
  • Undertaking health checks and preparing due diligence reports.
International Tax and FEMA Advisory:
  • Providing advisory services on international tax issues, including profit attribution, business connection, expat tax, and ESOPs.
  • Analyzing effective tax rate planning for Indian promoter-held groups.
  • Advising on FEMA and assisting with compounding applications.
  • Assisting with lower withholding applications, condonation applications, assessments, appeals, and engaging with Senior Counsels.
 Requirements:
  • Experience in direct tax advisory and international taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze complex tax scenarios and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
