Job Title: Data Architect

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced data architect to lead our team in designing and implementing data-driven solutions.

  • Design and develop features in our existing data warehouse, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to establish connections between engineering, product, and analytics/data scientists groups.
  • Create, implement, and maintain batch ETL pipelines to support business requirements.
  • Define and implement data architecture strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and data analysts to build high-quality datasets that meet business needs.
  • Work with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, and Prefect.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture and modeling.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling paradigms including Kimball, Inmon, Data Marts, Data Vault, Medallion, and more.
  • Experience with cloud-based data strategies and big data technologies, preferably on AWS.
  • Expertise in designing data pipelines for ETL, including ingestion, transformation, and data quality.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL and PostGreSQL development, query optimization, and indexing.
  • Ability to understand and manipulate complex levels of SQL.
  • Thorough knowledge of Postgres PL/SQL for working with complex warehouse workflows.
  • Experience in designing data visualization with Tableau and PowerBI.
