- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electric vehicles, including batteries, motors, inverters, and other high-voltage components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and software.
- Maintain and service EV charging stations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce vehicle downtime and improve efficiency.
- Interpret and utilize wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals for system diagnostics and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices while handling high-voltage systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop maintenance strategies and improve vehicle performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members and end-users.
- Stay updated on the latest EV technologies, regulations, and industry advancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in EV maintenance, automotive electrical systems, or high-voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge of EV powertrains, battery management systems, and charging infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and software for fault detection and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to high-voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications in EV maintenance or high-voltage safety training (preferred).
- Valid drivers license.
