Oracle Agile PLM Consultant

This role is responsible for delivering technical solutions to support business processes, focusing on the development and deployment of Process Extensions (PXs) using Java for Agile PLM 9.3.6. The ideal candidate will have expertise in customizing workflows, events, and triggers using the Agile SDK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop technical solutions to support business processes.
  • Develop and deploy PXs using Java for Agile PLM 9.3.6.
  • Customize workflows, events, and triggers using the Agile SDK.
  • Perform unit testing and support functional testing.
  • Support data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems (SAP, Visual, Enovia).
  • Write technical specifications for customizations and integrations.
  • Provide ongoing support for Agile PLM applications and troubleshoot issues.
  • Review and maintain Agile ACS code and SDK-based customizations.
  • Create event scripts and Groovy scripts for workflow automation.
  • Customize Agile Web Client UI to improve usability.
  • Work with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Recompile and redeploy existing PXs during version upgrades.
  • Ensure smooth deployment across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Use Agile Import/Export tools, SDK, or direct database staging for bulk data loads or data updates.
  • Validate migrated data for completeness and integrity.
  • Analyze and resolve application errors related to custom PXs, integrations, or performance issues.
  • Perform log analysis for root cause investigation.
  • Optimize PXs, queries, and scripts to minimize execution time to impact performance.
  • Assist in load testing for large-scale Agile PLM deployments.
  • Maintain documentation for all custom developments, integrations, and scripts.
  • Create deployment guides for moving code from Dev to QA to Production.
  • Keep version control of all custom artifacts.
  • Refactor or rebuild incompatible PXs and web services.
  • Support regression testing for technical components.
  • Develop Tomcat server applications.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Agile PLM and its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in Java and experience with process extensions.
  • Knowledge of the Agile SDK and its capabilities.
  • Understanding of workflow customization and automation.
  • Experience with data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
