Key Role: Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to fill this critical role. As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software applications using Magento.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust software applications using Magento, with a focus on front-end and back-end development.
  • Install, customize, and develop Magento extensions with expertise.
  • Develop proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and OOP principles, ensuring seamless integration of software components.
  • Customize Magento themes, develop modules, and integrate extensions to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Apply knowledge of JavaScript, Knockout.js, Require JS, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 to create dynamic and engaging interfaces.
  • Understand Magento REST and GraphQL APIs for integrations, enabling seamless data exchange and synchronization.
  • Utilize version control systems like Git/Bitbucket and build tools like Composer to ensure efficient collaboration and deployment.
  • Provide strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively through both oral and written means, prioritizing tasks, and managing assigned responsibilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Commerce Cloud features to leverage advanced capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Redis, Varnish, and RabbitMQ to enhance scalability and performance.
  • Basic understanding of Linux command-line for streamlined deployments.
  • Magento 2 Certified Developer certification for enhanced credibility.
  • Adobe Certified Professional - Magento Commerce Developer certification for preferred candidates.
