Job Description

As a senior software engineer, you will play a key role in driving technology innovation and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Develop and evolve software in a fast-paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7 engineers, guiding them in their work and helping them grow professionally.
  • Work with product line leaders to understand product requirements and vision, translating these into prioritized lists of user stories and delivering them on time and to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects to develop multi-generational software technology plans, identifying opportunities for process improvements and eliminating duplication.
  • Drive increased efficiency across teams by leveraging product and technology reuse, supporting process improvements that guide development and sustaining support activities.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead teams, working cross-functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively within the immediate team and across SSG leadership teams, ensuring team members have a clear understanding of business direction, strategy, and results.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or engineering, with 7-11 years of experience in supporting business applications and technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience managing technical design solutions, with a focus on Salesforce, Classic, Lightning, Visual Force, Apex, Java Services, and integration techniques.
  • Experience with Apex classes, Apex triggers, Apex scheduler, batch Apex, workflow rules, and Lightning Aura components.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java and Python, as well as experience with Salesforce implementation and development.
  • Certifications in Salesforce, Mulesoft, or Copado are highly desirable.
