Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the database infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining large-scale Oracle databases.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement database security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data
  • Maintain optimal database performance through regular tuning and monitoring
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical issues and provide consultation on database design and implementation
  • Work closely with Oracle Corporation to ensure timely resolution of technical support issues
  • Perform backup and recovery operations, as well as database cloning and patching activities
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for database management
  • Provide 24x7 support to ensure continuous database availability and performance

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture and concepts
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 architecture and concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting
  • Good understanding of Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2
  • Oracle Database 12c, 19c, RMAN
  • Shell scripting
  • Linux
  • SQL
  • PL/SQL

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent
