Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance with experience working on web-based applications, mobile applications, and client-server applications.

This role is perfect for a motivated individual who enjoys identifying issues and implementing solutions to improve overall product quality. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing a team to test a range of applications from high-stakes engineering software solutions to control and monitor high-end software control systems.

In this position, you will manage and execute project plans and deliver commitments within a professional, high-paced engineering environment. You will also interface with internal/external customers to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate direction and progress.

Your expertise in manual and automated testing will enable you to drive improvements in software quality practices and contribute to test process, tools, and methodologies. Additionally, you will oversee and direct the development of new test frameworks and applications to ensure the implementation of manual and automated test solutions.

You will work closely with the scrum team to drive, implement, and maintain tests in an agile environment. Your analytical skills will help you assess impact of design changes to determine optimal level of testing. You will also develop methods and perform load and performance testing, integrate testing with continuous-integration process, and troubleshoot issues systematically.

A critical component of your success will be ensuring proper analysis and documentation of test results. You will actively participate in team retrospectives to recommend and implement improvements to test strategy and planning.
