The Role of SAP BIS in Fraud Detection and Compliance Monitoring

As a key member of our organization, you will lead the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Business Integrity Screening (BIS) solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment. This role focuses on enabling fraud detection, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation through advanced screening capabilities in SAP.

We are seeking a skilled professional with deep knowledge of fraud detection, compliance processes, risk management, and internal control frameworks within SAP systems. You will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP BIS to detect fraudulent, non-compliant, or high-risk transactions in SAP S/4HANA.

  • Screening Scenario Design: Design, develop, and manage screening scenarios, business rules, thresholds, and alerts in line with compliance and audit requirements.
  • Risk Indicator Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define screening logic, risk indicators, and mitigation workflows.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP BIS with other components in the SAP S/4HANA landscape, including SAP Fiori for user interfaces.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and optimize detection accuracy and rule efficiency.

A strong analytical and troubleshooting background, combined with effective communication skills, is essential for this role. Experience in regulated industries or involvement in internal audits or compliance projects is a plus.
